背景介绍 DCAMKL2 (also known as doublecortin-like kinase 2 or DCLK2) is a close homologue of doublecortin or DCX which is associated with intractable epilepsy in humans, due to a severe disorganization of the neocortex and hippocampus known as classical lissencephaly. DCX; DCLK2-null mice display frequent spontaneous seizures that originate in the hippocampus, with most animals dying in the first few months of life. DCX and DCLK2 are co-expressed in developing hippocampus, and, in their absence, there is dosage-dependent disrupted hippocampal lamination associated with a cell-autonomous simplification of pyramidal dendritic arborizations leading to reduced inhibitory synaptic tone (1). 产品介绍 Recombinant human DCAMKL2 (a.a. 1-690), with N-terminal GST-tag, expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 cells
询价背景介绍 DCAMKL1 or doublecortin-like kinase 1 contains two N-terminal doublecortin domains (which bind microtubules and regulate microtubule polymerization), a C-terminal serine/threonine protein kinase domain (which shows substantial homology to Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase), and a serine/proline-rich domain in between the doublecortin and the protein kinase domains (which mediates multiple protein-protein interactions) (1). DCAMKL1 is a microtubule-associated kinase that can undergo autophosphorylation. DCAMKL1 has microtubule-polymerizing activity that is independent of its protein kinase activity (2). DCAMKL1 is involved in several different cellular processes, including neuronal migration, retrograde transport, neuronal apoptosis and neurogenesis. 产品介绍 Recombinant human DCAMKL1, also known as DCLK1, DCDC3A, DCLK, or KIAA0369, GenBank Accession No. NM_004734, full-length with an N-terminal GST tag and expressed in a baculovirus-infected Sf9 cell expression system.
询价背景介绍 CAMKK2 (CAMKKβ) is a member of the CAMKK family. It is broadly distributed in tissues with highest levels in brain, thymus, spleen, and testis (1). CaMKK2 undergoes intramolecular autophosphorylation, is regulated by Ca2+/calmodulin and phosphorylates CaMKI and CaMKIV on Thr177 and Thr200, respectively. CaMKK2 activates both CaMKI and CaMKIV when coexpressed in Jurkat T cells. CaMKK2 also phosphorylates and regulates the activity of AMPK, which is an important regulator of cellular metabolism in response to metabolic stress (2). 产品介绍 Recombinant human CAMKK2, full length, with N-terminal GST-tag, expressed by Sf9 insect cells via a baculovirus expression system.
询价背景介绍 CK2α is a serine-threonine protein kinase whose targets include many critical regulators of cellular growth. It is highly expressed in a lymphopro-liferative disease of cattle and in many human cancers. Overexpression of the CK2 catalytic subunit in lymphocytes of transgenic mice leads to T cell lymphoma (1). The highest CK2α1 activity is found in mouse testicles and brain, followed by spleen, liver, lung, kidney and heart (2). 产品介绍 Recombinant full-length human CK2alpha1 was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST-tag. The gene accession number is NM_001895.
询价背景介绍 CAMKK1 or CAMKKα is a Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase that activates CaM-kinases I and IV via phosphorylation of their Thr(177) and Thr(196) residues, respectively. Recent studies have shown that the activity of CAMKK1 is decreased upon phosphorylation by cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) (1) The CAMKKalpha has been identified in intact cells as AMPKKs, predicting a significant role for this kinase in regulating AMPK activity in vivo. It has been shown that 2-deoxyglucose- and ionomycin-stimulated AMPK activity is substantially reduced in HeLa cells transfected with small interfering RNAs specific for CAMKKα (2). 产品介绍 Recombinant human CAMKK1, with N-terminal GST-tag, expressed by Sf9 insect cells via a baculovirus expression system.
询价背景介绍 CAMK2D is a serine/threonine protein kinase that is a member of the type II multifunctional Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. CAMK2D is abundantly present in human cardiac and skeletal muscle and its levels are increased in the heart of patients suffering from cardiomyopathy (1). In cardiomyocytes, stimulation of beta-1-adrenergic receptor leads to induction of apoptosis, an effect that is mediated by activation of CAMK2D in a PKA-independent manner. In addition, expression studies have revealed the downregulation of CAMK2D in human tumor cells. 产品介绍 Recombinant human CAMK2δ, full length, with N-terminal GST-tag, expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 cells
询价背景介绍 CAMK2γ is a member of the CAMKII family which are ubiquitous serine/threonine protein kinases that have been implicated in diverse effects of hormones and neurotransmitters. CAMK2γ has six alternatively spliced variants that encode six different isoforms. Some of these variants have been identified in human tumors (1). Transgenic mice expressing a partially calcium-independent mutant form of CAMKG showed 1.5- to 2-fold increase in the thymus of these mice, at least in part due to an increase in the life span of double-positive thymocytes (2). There was an increase in the number of T cells in the secondary lymphoid organs that had acquired an antigen-dependent memory phenotype. 产品介绍 Recombinant human CAMK2γ (C-terminal truncation), with N-terminal GST-tag, expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 cells
询价背景介绍 CAMK2β belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family and to the type II multifunctional Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily. CAMK2β showed wide tissue and cell distribution, and one of CAMK2β variant predominated in adult brain (1). The ratio of CAMK2α and CAMK2β protein levels were inversely related during activity in hippocampal neurons (2). CAMK2β is a prominent kinase in the central nervous system and may function in long-term potentiation and neurotransmitter release. 产品介绍 Recombinant human CAMK2β, full length, with N-terminal His-tag, expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 cells
询价背景介绍 CHK1 is a 56 kd serine/threonine protein kinase that was originally identified in fission yeast to play a role in activation of the DNA damage checkpoint in the G2 phase of the cell cycle (1). CHK1 appears to function downstream of several of the known fission yeast checkpoint gene products, including that encoded by rad3+, a gene with sequence similarity to the ATM gene mutated in patients with ataxia telangiectasia (2). 产品介绍 Recombinant full-length human CHK1 was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST-tag. The gene accession number is NM_001274.
