Spike S1 Neutralizing Antibody (WT, B.1.1.7 and B.1.351 Variant) (Clone C-A11) (SARS-CoV-2)

产品介绍 This purified rabbit monoclonal antibody recognizes recombinant wildtype SARS-CoV-2 Spike RBD and trimeric spike proteins. Additionally, this antibody cross-reacts with the B.1.1.7 variant, originally discovered in the U.K, and the B.1.351 variant, originally discovered in South Africa, for both the Spike RBD and trimeric proteins. This neutralizing antibody impedes the interaction between SARS-CoV-2 spike proteins and ACE2 receptor. ACE2 receptor is known to mediate COVID-19 infection through direct binding of the SARS-CoV2 Spike protein. This neutralizing antibody has been functionally tested using BPS Bioscience Spike RBD: ACE2 Inhibitor Screening Kits (BPS Bioscience, #78018, #78133, #78152). This antibody not been tested for cross reactivity with other SARS-CoV-2 variants.

WNK4 can regulate the balance between NaCl reabsorption and K(+) secretion. WNK4 negatively regulates the surface expression of SLC12A3, and the loss of this regulation may cause an inherited form of hypertension. WNK4 regulates the activities of several types of ion channels, cotransporters, and exchangers involved in electrolyte flux in epithelial cells. WNK4 is a positive regulator for the WNK-OSR1/SPAK-NCC cascade and is a potential target of antihypertensive drugs.

WNK3 can regulate the activity of the electroneutral cation-coupled chloride cotransporters by activating NKCC1/2 and NCC and inhibiting KCCs. WNK3 kinase function is required for normal blood pressure homeostasis and the control of neuronal excitability. Also, overexpression of WNK3 increases the survival of Hela cells through caspase-3 pathway.

The WNK kinases feature a cysteine residue in place of a lysine residue conserved in subdomain II of most kinases. WNK2 is predominantly expressed in brain, heart muscle, small intestine, and colon. As a tumor suppressor, WNK2 is involved in the modulation of growth factor-induced cancer cell proliferation through the MEK1/ERK1/2 pathway. WNK2 expression was found down-regulated epigenetically by promoter methylation in human gliomas.
